The prayer is to plead for Allah’s mercy (S.W.T) to relieve the drought and bring forth the rain. Performing the prayer is also a demonstration of the merciful teachings of Islam to all nations and humanity. Therefore, a Rain prayer will be performed as to relieve the current drought crisis in Australia.
